LOOKING FOR ONE’S PLACE IN THE WORLD-YOUTH AT RISK OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION OUTSIDE THE MAINSTREAM EDUCATION SYSTEM

Objectives. This article describes the situation of young people aged 15-18 who, for various reasons, have found themselves outside educational system and do not attend day schools. For most part, these are from backgrounds at risk social exclusion due to deprivation only economic, but also psychological culturally conditioned needs. The main reasons that basic education were lack fulfillment compulsory schooling (truancy, failure be promoted next grade several times) threat demoralization or criminal acts confirmed by Family Court. leading objectives were: recognize behavioral style adolescents dropping out system; ways in which respond surrounding reality make life choices.
